Central is an extremely popular fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Montgomery's Downtown entertainment district. Recommended by Ridley (Nephrite), Central boasts the #1 eatery spot on Tripadvisor as of 2018. Laura (Pluto) says her birthday dinner over the summer was fantastic.
Opened in April 2018, The Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy Museum and National Memorial for Peace and Justice focuses on bringing awareness to the public regarding racial inequality. It is a fascinating achievement eight years in the making, but be forewarned: some images, sculptures, and topics of discussion at the site will confront the crimes of racial inequality in a very real way.
A museum dedicated to the legacy of Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott, this is a must-see for Civil Rights history buffs.
