Yes! There will be free parking at the venue. However, if you plan to spend time at the venue's Speakeasy, you might consider using Lyft or Uber or carpooling with a designated driver.
Please arrive by 4:30pm! We will be having our cocktail hour before the ceremony so you have a chance to settle in, get a drink and some appetizers, and use the restroom before the ceremony begins.
There will not be a shuttle service, as everyone will be spread out with their accommodations. If you are worried about driving to the venue or driving home from the venue, please consider using a rideshare service or carpooling with other guests (if you are from out of town we can connect you to each other)!
Haiku I DO offers a beautiful combination of indoor and outdoor settings. Throughout the evening, we will be moving between the Pagoda Chapel, the Kootie Lounge Speakeasy, and the garden with its fire pits, koi pond, and various gathering areas! With this in mind, please wear footwear that will be comfortable throughout the venue.
We’ll be providing lemonade, unsweetened tea/sweet tea, and water throughout the evening and wine with dinner! Haiku I Do has a Speakeasy (The Kootie Lounge) where cocktails, beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
Think 'enchanted garden party.' We suggest tea-length or maxi dresses, floral prints, deep jewel tones, and dress shirts or suits in lighter hues. Since we’ll be celebrating among the bamboo and koi ponds, please prioritize footwear that is comfortable on garden paths—block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are highly recommended!
Haiku I Do is a smaller, more intimate venue. While we would love to celebrate with everyone, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on your invitation. We look forward to seeing you there!
We want everyone to enjoy a delicious meal! Please let us know of any specific allergies or dietary restrictions (Vegan, GF, Nut-Free, etc.) when you RSVP!
We’d love for you to take photos and videos of our special day! We just kindly ask that all phones be turned off and stored during the our ceremony. Thank you for helping us keep the moment peaceful!
Wherever you feel most at home! While we have listed a few nearby hotels as a starting point, please feel free to stay anywhere you like. We personally recommend checking out Airbnb for some great local spots. The hotels mentioned on our "Travel" page are simply suggestions based on their proximity to the venue!
