For months, Annaclaire planned how she was going to propose to Kate. On December 31st, 2025, Kate thought they were only going to be hosting a New Year's party. Anna, with the help of her best friend, Aisha, set up the apartment as a romantic entryway with rose petals, pictures of the brides together, candles, and champagne. Kate was kept distracted by one of her friends, Kiersten, by getting their nails done and doing some errands for the "party." When Kate gets home, the door opens.
