We're getting married!

We met online in November 2019 on the dating app called Bumble. We bonded over our love of movies and craft beer and had our first date at a bar called Mongoose vs Cobra (RIP). Graham tried to explain nitro beers and Katherine teased him about it. We had an immediate connection and stayed out way too late talking about everything under the sun. It was the best first date.

We planned a bucket list level trip to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks in April/May 2024. At Yosemite, it was peak waterfall and dogwood flower blossom season. For our first day at the park, we tackled the Mist Trail, a 5-6 hour hike to Vernal and Nevada Falls. We are not seasoned hikers. At the base of the Nevada Falls, Katherine was taking in the views saying "Wow, how cool!", while Graham bent down on one knee behind her. "Hey, there is something cool over here," he said, and he proposed. Katherine enthusiastically said yes (of course!), and we spent the next few hours taking in the outrageously beautiful scenic views.
