Tony and Kat's paths could have crossed so many times in their lives. Around ten years ago, Tony auditioned for Kat's friends' band, but didn't get get the gig. Paths remained parallel. At the Amador County fair in 2017, after working at a wine tasting event, Kat checked out this cute guy on stage, but never ended up talking to him. Turns out it was Tony. Paths got a little closer. December 2018, both Tony and Kat took a chance on Tinder and swiped right. After a few cocktails on their first date, Kat told Tony if he tried anything, she would sock him. Fortunately he was a perfect gentleman, but snuck a great kiss in at the end of the evening. Their paths finally crossed and they have been together ever since.

Life happened and Tony lost his health care benefits. Tony and Kat were already living together and talking about getting married in the future. While talking about their upcoming vacation to New Orleans, Kat came up with the brilliant idea of eloping there (better than Vegas or City Hall). Tony was shocked because he had thought of it too. In 32 days, they planned a simple ceremony to take place under the Tree of Life at the Audubon Park in New Orleans. They announced their surprise nuptials to friends and family via a Facebook Live stream, followed by a Second Line Parade through the streets of the French Quarter. Now they want to share that experience with friends and family!
