Official in 2020 and Party in 2021!

Because we care deeply about the health & well-being of our family and friends, we decided to postpone our wedding reception to November 5, 2021. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you!

While working in the same department at Vanguard, Katharine had a crush on Seamus. After many smiles, “hello”s, and convincing by fellow coworkers...Seamus finally believed her crush to be true! Seamus took Katharine on their first date to Nudy’s in Ardmore, and both of us didn’t want the day to end. So, Seamus tried teaching Katharine how to drive stick shift (first and final attempt for Katharine), and then went to walk through Valley Forge Park. From there, it’s history! We have shared almost 5 years of love, happiness, and many memories.

What seemed like any normal Sunday hike, turned out to be the most exciting day of our lives! Seamus was very antsy that morning and adamant we leave promptly at 10AM (strange for Seamus to be pressing for time). We arrived at Valley Forge Park and talked endlessly about a Netflix series (Seamus was very jittery). Seamus suggested we go check out a beautiful overlook on the trail...and then our conversation shifted from Netflix to the beautiful relationship we have and the most important question Katharine had ever been asked “will you marry me?”! Of course the answer was YES, and as soon as we emotionally embraced — Katharine noticed a man taking photos. Lo and behold, it was Seamus’s best friend (and Best Man) Dennis, who so beautifully captured that unforgettable moment!
