What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is summer glam - think elegant dresses, tuxedos or summer suits. Come as glam as you like, you can never be too overdressed!

Are children invited?

Answer

We hope you understand our decision to have a children free wedding. We'd love for you to enjoy a night off and celebrate us in full party mode.

What about gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. If you’d like to give a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would mean so much and help us create memories that will last a lifetime. When should we arrive?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive from 1pm, one hour before the ceremony, which begins at 2pm. Please allow enough time to find your seat, and settle in before we say "I do"!

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there's plenty of parking on site. You're welcome to leave your car overnight, but please collect it by 10am the following morning.

I have a food allergy or dietary requirement. What should I do?

Answer

No problem. Please let us know any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP so we can make sure you are well taken care of.

Will there be food after the cermony?

Answer

We'll be serving canapes and drinks following the ceremony, but the main meal won't be until 5pm. Please make sure you have something to eat before hand and line your stomach. We'd hate anyone to go hungry!

I don't drink alcohol. Is that okay?

Answer

Of course! Please let us know if you don't plan to drink so we can make sure there are plenty of delicious alcohol free options available throughout the day.

Does the bar take cash or card?

Answer

The bar accepts card/ contactless payments only.

Question

Can we smoke at the venue?

Answer

Yes smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas. There's also a heated Morrocan style snug that can be used for smoking or just relaxing.

I think I lost something at a wedding. Where can I find it?

Answer

The venue will return any lost items to us the morning after the wedding. Please check with them first, and if you're still missing something you can email the venue at upwalthambarns@wedding-office.co.uk

Due to the rural location, all taxis to and from the venue need to be pre-booked well in advance. Where is the nearest train station?

Barnham, 15-20 min drive away
