Silver Springs State Park

A classic Ocala feature and one of Katie and John's favorites. Enjoy glass bottom boats, kayaking, and short hikes. Keep an eye out for monkeys!

Silver River Museum & Environmental Education Center

As a program of Marion County Public Schools, the museum is closed to the public on weekdays, but open to the public 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. While the museum is brief, it offers a look into Florida's history. Located within Silver Springs State Park, there are plenty of short trails to explore!

Ocala National Forest

Explore trails, lakes, ponds, sinkholes, and natural springs such as Juniper Springs, Alexander Springs and Salt Springs.
