If you are taking the shuttle, please be in the lobby/outside for 6:30 pm. The shuttle will leave promptly at 6:40 pm. We recommend guests reserve their hotel rooms as early as possible. The Southern Hotel is a boutique hotel & the cutest hotel on the Northshore by far! That being said, space is very limited at this hotel and we have limited rooms blocked. Contact Kat if more hotel rooms need to be opened up. We have room blocks for 12/3 & 12/4/2021. We will have transportation leaving from this hotel starting around 630 pm to the event. We will have transportation shuttles throughout the night to & from the event. The last shuttle will be leaving the event at 11 pm, arriving back to the hotel around 11:30 pm.

The hotel-block rates at this hotel will be available Dec 3rd & 4th. We will have transportation leaving from this hotel starting around 630 pm to the event. If you are taking the shuttle, please be outside for 6:30 pm. The shuttle will leave promptly at 6:35 pm in order to get to the Hilton Garden Inn. Guests staying at this hotel can also find their way to the Hilton Garden Inn to catch the shuttle from there if needed. Due to Hurricane Ida, many of the hotels have sustained damage and are running at reduced capacity. This hotel is down the street from the Hilton Garden Inn and has more rooms. We will have shuttle services to and from this hotel in the same loop as the Hilton Garden Inn.

Guests staying at this hotel can also find their way to the Hilton Garden Inn to catch the shuttle from there if needed. Drive to Abita Springs

Abita Springs is about 1 hour away from New Orleans. If you are from out of town, you will most likely want to rent a car for the weekend. We do have uber/lyft in New Orleans & across the lake in Covington/Mandeville. If driving to & from the event (and not staying at one of the selected hotels) guests can either drive to one of the hotels to catch the shuttle or they can park at the venue where ample personal parking is available. Uber/lyft/taxis are NOT available from event property or the Town of Abita Springs.

Travel Note

Directions to The Saussy Farm

Directions to The Saussy Farm: From NOLA, cross the causeway. Once off, continue straight towards Covington. Take 1-12 East towards Slidell. Take the Abita Springs exit and go LEFT. Pass under the interstate. Continue down Hwy 59 until you enter Abita Springs (~5 miles). You will come to a round about. Go half way around it (the second exit) and exit onto Level Street. The bank & white church is on your LEFT. Abita Cafe on your RIGHT. Continue down Level Street until you come to a fork in the road. Fork LEFT. You will come to a STOP sign. Continue straight. Pass USPS on your left. Pass a broken down gas station on your left. SLOW DOWN! There is a bend in the road towards the right, HOWEVER in that bend you will take a LEFT onto Prats Dairy Road. Go slow as cars come at you fast! Take a quick left onto the gravel road. You will see a dead end sign, enter (dont go right). Down a mile, you'll see the Saussy sign. Turn right into the property. Someone will direct where to park.
