What airport do I fly into?
Answer
We recommend flying into Edinburgh airport. There are direct flights from Newark (EWR) or a connection if booking through Philadelphia (PHL). Trams are one of the easiest ways to get to and from the airport with fast and frequent services to Edinburgh city centre. Trams depart every 7 minutes, between 7am and 7pm, and every 15 minutes outside these hours, with an end-to-end journey of just 30 minutes. Taxis to and from the city centre are also an option.

Where should I stay?
Answer
We have several hotels recommended for guests. Transportation to and from Barnbougle will depart from the OMNi Centre, which is located directly adjacent to the Glasshouse and Courtyard Marriott hotels.

What is the attire for the wedding?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is black tie. The driveway leading up to the venue is gravel and may be difficult to navigate, so please plan ahead. We're going to party in a castle, so dress accordingly!

What is the weather like in Scotland at the end of September?
Answer
Temperatures in late September are pretty consistent throughout Scotland at sea level and get cooler at higher elevations. Edinburgh typically reaches daily highs of 61°F (16°C) and lows of 48°F (9°C) in September. While we are hoping for nice weather, please come prepared for the possibility of rain!

How do I arrange my own transportation to/from the Castle?
Answer
The only way to access the castle (apart from driving yourself) is to pre-book a taxi. We recommend using Capital Cars (https://www.capitalcarsscotland.co.uk/). Uber will NOT pick up from the Castle.
