When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than February 8th.

Question

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

To RSVP, please use the "RSVP" tab on our wedding website.

What should I do if I'm unable to attend?

Answer

Your face will be missed! If you are unable to make it, you can use the "RSVP" tab to decline. Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow everyone a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that all guests be 21 years of age or older. We hope you'll still be able to join us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal is best. For ladies, think cocktail, knee length, midi, or floor length dresses/skirts or pantsuits. For gentlemen, think long sleeve button down shirt, tie, and blazer. Although we are having a completely indoor wedding, please do dress comfortably for the weather.

What will the location be like?

Answer

We are getting married at The Crest Center and Pavilion in Asheville, NC. There are two different buildings, our festivities will take place completely in the Crest Center. The staff will guide you to the ceremony up a flight of stairs where our ceremony will take place. After we say "I Do", everyone will be guided back down the stairs for cocktail hour while we take our pictures outside. Shortly thereafter, we will all join together for the reception where we can all eat, drink and get jiggy with it!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Your timely appearance is always much appreciated. We kindly ask you to arrive 15 - 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony promptly at 4:00 p.m.

Is there a scheduled time that the reception will end?

Answer

Our venue has us scheduled for cleanup at 9:00 p.m.

Is it okay to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully ask that all phones and devices be stowed away and silenced/turned off for the ceremony. We've hired a wonderful photographer to capture every precious moment of the day. Feel free to take as many photos as your heart desires before and after the ceremony. We will also share our photos from the photographer on our "Photos" page as soon as they're available.

May I share my photos on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage you to post your photos of the reception on your social media accounts! We also encourage you to use our wedding hashtag #tyingthefrenchknot to make it easier to find all the photos. Please remember that photos on personal devices are to be taken during the reception ONLY to keep our ceremony as intimate as possible.

Our venue has given us a list of sitters that many of their clients use. We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym -Owner Vanessa Albano - Contact Vanessa at 828.712.2165 or info@werockthespectrumasheville.com -www.werockthespectrumasheville.com/about-us/ -Take a virtual tour of their gym on the website above. Their staff is mostly teachers from the Buncombe County Public Schools , and all are CPR certified and background checked. They have security cameras in all rooms and make sanitation and safety of the kids their utmost priorities.
