Das Dutchman Essenhaus
The Essenhaus is about 25 minutes north of Syracuse. There is a great restaurant with both buffet and family style options available, a bakery, and numerous activities on site.
The Channel Marker
Every time we are in Syracuse, we stop at The Channel Marker. The food is great, the vibe is chill, and the drinks are strong. You must try their signature Swamp Water. They won't tell you what's in it, but it's delicious!

Shipshewana
If you're interested in doing some shopping, or just exploring Amish country, Shipshewana is about 35 minutes away from Syracuse.
Man Cave Brewing Company
Man Cave Brewing has a nice space right on the edge of town and they have great food.
Wawasee Bowl
A local bowling alley with Chubbie's Pub & Grub inside. In case you want to bowl a couple games with a cold beer.
