Rachel Wooters

Matron of Honor

Katie and Rachel have known one another since fourth grade! We attended The Christian Academy together, and even did our first semester of college in the same school at DCCC. We have shared our ups and downs, and all the seasons of life! She has always encouraged me and pushed me to be the best person that I can be! We have been friends for a very long time! I cannot imagine not having her as a part of my life! She is a gift from God and a wonderful sister in Christ!

Eva Lang

Maid of Honor

Eva and I met in high school and hit it off pretty quickly! There was a time that my family referred to her as "my other sister"! She and I were always at one another's homes. We went to youth group together, and led youth group together for younger kids! There are so many memories and special times and times that we were just plain there for each other. I can't imagine such a special day happening without this woman!

Karissa Guzik

Bridesmaid

She makes me laugh! Karissa and I cannot spend time together without laughter happening! She is also one of the most sincere and loyal people that I know. She stands by her convictions, and is always ready to pray with or for you! She also has one of the most amazing singing voices that I have ever had the priviledge of hearing and also singing with! I am so happy to call her "friend" and pleased to have her in my wedding! :)

Monica Alves

Bridesmaid

Just after college while nannying for the Harper family, I met a wonderful Brazilian girl! Her name was Monica and she is one of the most vibrant and loving people that I know. She takes friendship seriously and would do anything to help a friend. She has been there for me to support me through many tough moments in my life over the past almost 10 years now! Yikes! I know I can count on her, and that makes me feel pretty good! Bisou, Moni!

Charmagne Lott

Bridesmaid

The teacher next door is a pretty important person! They sometimes cover you for those emergency potty breaks, and also listen to you if you need to vent between classes. This lady became such a dear friend that we are still close to this day. I supported her and she supported me as a new teacher in her building. There were countless times she has given me advice, and also just listened to me! I don't know where I would be without her warm welcome of friendship when I moved to Reading PA!

Lindsey Williams

Bridesmaid

Some people you meet and you just immediately click with. I have not known this woman near as long as the others, but I have known her almost as long as I have known John. Lindsey went to college with John and happens to be living in Berks County, PA. She is the first friend of his that I ever met, AND she quickly became my friend as well! It was one of those rare moments where you meet someone and you just feel like they "get it", they "get you", and they are kind, funny, warm, and caring! Lindsey is a gem! :)

Karl Kloepfer

Father of the Bride

My Daddy has worked hard his whole life. He raised 3 children along with my mom, and they always did the best they could! Daddy worked as an iron and steel worker. Long hours many times in less than optimal conditions so that we would have what we needed. And we always did. He worked two and three jobs sometimes in order to make everything work, and to send us to The Christian Academy for our education. I will be forever grateful for the sacrifices that were made by this man. My dad is the ultimate family man. He married his high school sweetheart, my mom, at the age of 21. His life has been dedicated to his family ever since. He never pursued trivial things, he is always concerned with what was best for the family. He is a loving and God revering man. He is still the rock of our family!

MaryAnn Kloepfer

Mother of the Bride

She always encourages me to do what is right. She taught me what that is as a child, by taking me to church. Teaching me to be a follower of Jesus, and to listen to and know his teachings. Mom and I always shared a special bond, and now that I am an adult it has changed, deepened, and grown. She is a very wise lady who has a lot of insight from a lot of time spent thinking. Mom and Dad have been married since 1976. They have spent their life together with a focus on our family and raising their children. They gave us memories of Christmas, birthdays, cook outs, Halloween, Easter, and Vacations and just plain every day life as well. We had a lot of happy moments and we were blessed to have everything we needed and more. Mom worked hard inside our home and outside as well.

Katharine Kloepfer

Bride

Katharine Kloepfer is doing positive things with her life! She is a certified teacher in PA, DE, and MO! She loves working with kids, and loves people in general! She loves Jesus! She enjoys spending time with her two dogs that she is sharing with John, Beast and Pumpkin. Whenever possible she enjoys spending time out of doors in nature. She enjoys singing, music, art, the beach, spending time with friends, and family, and also time on her own to recharge. Since meeting John in 2017, Kate has moved to Missouri. She spent a year selling cars, which she loved, and she found a job teaching Middle School Math! She has traveled more in the past two years than her whole life prior. Life has not been the same since meeting John, and Kate would not have it any other way!

John Rockhold

Groom

John Rockhold is doing positive things with his life! He is a certified teacher in PA and MO. He loves mathematics, wrestling, and being unpredictable. John has a long history of being a good friend. (This is evidenced by the many people who have attested to this fact, and much observation by Kate over that past couple years.) He is always willing to help his friends whether it is with moving a heavy object, a ride, or just a listening ear. It is also evident that he loves his two sisters and his mother very much! John enjoys being outdoors, sports (wrestling especially), travel, and new adventures! He tries very hard to do the right thing in life, which to me is the embodiment of the love of Christ. To care for others as God has commanded and to try and a life that pleases Him.

Joseph Davis

Groomsman

John and Joe first met at the Baptist Student Union in Fall 2004! They slowly developed a friendship until the fall of 2009 when John started his Masters program and spent the weekends on Joe’s couch playing video games and talking about life! Their travels around the US led to Joseph meeting his wife Meredith, and it’s safe to say Joseph will always be there when John calls!

David Jolly

Best Man

John and David first met in college in 2005, and quickly bonded over Arby’s 5 for 5 deals, crushing multiple meal deals in one sitting. David has always been the one who John calls when he needs life advice, and easily knows John better than any other friend!

Michael Korkland

Groomsman

John and Mike first met at a professional wrestling show in Trenton Missouri in 2014 but the connection didn’t lock in they ran across each other at another show in Nashville in 2015! Mike invited John to come work at another company, and several road trips and mentoring from Mike later John has come to value him! Mike is an extremely valued friend and mentor!

Anthony Bennett

Groomsman

Since the day John met Ant he knew they were destined to be friends. Ant has been a close friend since 2016 and John values his opinion in wrestling and life. John thinks of Ant as a little brother and a close friend, and there is no shenanigans the two of them would not get into together!

Mike Dean

Groomsman

John and Mike met when John was looking for a temporary residence, and that sparked a friendship of like minded wandering spirits that will last a lifetime. Mike has one of the best hearts, and is extremely grounded and giving. For that reason John is proud to have him in his life as a dear friend and to have him stand at his side!

Harold Hicks

Groomsman

The first time John heard of Harold someone was threatening him with Harold. They met working together as bouncers at a bar, and quickly John became “skinny me!” to Harold! Similar senses of humor, intelligence levels, and social habits bonded the two! John will always consider Harold his big brother, and is super excited that their friendship knows no bounds!

Orvaleta Rockhold

Mother of the Groom

Orvaleta is John’s mom, and the hardest working person he knows. She has one of the biggest hearts, and when she speaks everyone listens. She is the epitome of making your words count. John would never have become the man he is today without her love and support both when he was succeeding and failing. Never one to criticize, but also not one to bail him out of a jam, she offers kindness and support.

Ed Rockhold

Father of the Groom

John’s late father was the strongest example of a man John has ever known, and he misses him dearly every day. Not a day goes by that he doesn’t speak to him for a few moments. Ed was born in 1926, and was one of the strongest men to ever walk this Earth. He was kind to everyone, chose his friends carefully, and would help anyone who needed it. Always a prankster and one to laugh, his sense of humor lives on in all of his children, and definitely John.
