Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Katharina Minchew and Ricky Trimble
Oahu has a very special place in our hearts. It's where we met, fell in love, shared our favorite dates and got engaged. We hope you enjoy the island and explore locations from our love story or create your own :) We would recommend making reservations for restaurants and activities well in advance as they tend to book out fast.

Soft white sand, turquoise water with the Koʻolau mountains in the background. Large beach, usually with fewer crowds

Waimea Bay Beach

Waimea Bay Beach

North Shore, HI 96712

A North Shore classic and one of our favorite beaches on the island. In the summer, it’s all about calm, turquoise water perfect for swimming and snorkeling. In the winter, it transforms into a big-wave surfer's paradise. Parking can be challenging so arrive early!

Lanikai Beach

Lanikai Beach

Kailua, HI 96734

The best beach on the island imo. We had our engagement photo shoot here and always love coming back. It's postcard perfection: white sand, calm turquoise water and views of the mokes (two small islands) in the background. Parking can be tricky but it's worth it!

Lanikai Pillbox Trail

Lanikai Pillbox Trail
