When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 1st! We can't wait to celebrate with you; submitting your response on time helps us finalize all the details for the big day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We encourage guests to arrive at 3:30 PM to make your way to the ceremony site and find your seat before it begins. To ensure an uninterrupted ceremony, late arrivals will not be admitted until cocktail hour. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is formal. We encourage floor-length gowns or elegant dresses (midi or ankle-length), along with suits and ties. We can't wait to see everyone dressed up for the occasion!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, our wedding will be primarily an adults-only celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a night off celebrating with us!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally listed on the invitation or included as a plus-one.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be hosted at The Westin Carlsbad.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, while the reception will be held indoors. The outdoor areas include both turf and concrete surfaces, so heels are perfectly fine.

Can I check into the hotel before the ceremony?

Answer

If you choose to stay at The Westin, please note that hotel check-in starts at 4:00 PM which conflicts with our ceremony start time. We recommend either booking September 25th and 26th, or planning to check-in after the wedding. We appreciate you keeping this in mind while making your travel plans.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue will be providing complimentary valet parking. If you prefer to self-park, there is also a complimentary parking lot across from the main entrance.

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged, so we kindly ask that you put your phones away and be present with us. Afterward, feel free to take as many photos as you would like during the reception.

Do you have a registry? Can we bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. For those who have asked, under the registry tab, we have created a honeymoon fund. If you prefer to bring a card, there will be a card box available.

What's the weather like that time of year?

Answer

Late September in Carlsbad offers mild, coastal weather, with daytime temperatures in the mid-70s and cooler evenings in the low 60s. As the sun sets, it can get a bit chilly, so we recommend bringing a light jacket.
