We're Getting Married!

We first met at our apartment pool when Kason mentioned what building, floor, and the door he lived in, which funny enough happened to be just down the hall from Katey’s. Little did we know Kason had already met Katey’s mother Rona months earlier in that very same hall. Supposedly Rona had mentioned “lookout for the cute guy down the hall”, it must have been meant to be! A few weeks after the initial pool meeting, Katey was not ready to go home after a happy hour with friends and got the guts to knock on Kason’s door. Conversation flowed, which led to a concert that night, “95.9 The Ranch Summer Concert Series”. And it just clicked. That’s pretty much when we thought, “Okay. This could be something.”

We had planned a trip to Barcelona, Spain. Kason had been chomping at the bit to propose and believed BCN would be perfect. Katey grew up Catholic and her grandfather was an amazing architect, which we both shared a passion for, it just made sense! So Kason lined up a professional photographer and told Katey they were getting vacation shots done around the city for fun. The photographer and Kason planned out everything and when the moment was just right during a pose in front of La Sagrada Familia he'd mention to Kason "The Lighting is Perfect"... Katey startled looked back and he was down on one knee. She said "YES," and we were engaged!! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all. See you soon!
