We are planning a day trip to Montepulciano on Monday, August 31st. If you would like to join, please let us know ASAP so we can coordinate transportation (transportation would be an additional cost).

For those arriving early, there will be an optional wine tasting as the villa. The cost to participate is €51 per person (final cost will depend on conversion rate at time of payment, 30 days before the event). Wine Tasting Selection: 1. Sara – Spumante IGT (Villa Baroncino sparkling white wine) 2. Villa Antinori Bianco – Toscana IGT (Marchesi Antinori white wine) 3. Scalabrone – Bolgheri Rosato DOC (Marchesi Antinori rosé wine) 4. La Braccesca – Rosso di Montepulciano DOC (Marchesi Antinori red wine) 5. Podere Madama – Rosso IGT (Villa Baroncino red riserva wine) Included: Delicious local appetizers to enhance your wine-tasting experience. There is a 25 person maximum on this class, so if you want to participate, please RSVP to Katey and Chris ASAP.

Hog Roast and Pasta Party! There will be plenty of traditional appetizers, an array of pastas and porchetta roasted pork.

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues
Any daytime formal attire is appropriate, however, we suggest lightweight suits for men and airy dresses for women as it will be hot!! If you’d like to embrace the theme further, you can be imaginative with bright & pastel colors, florals, etc.

For those who are looking to stay at the villa on Friday, there will be an option to participate in an authentic Italian cooking class! The class cost is €51.41 per person (final cost will depend on conversion rate at time of payment, 30 days before the event). Each lesson will include several different appetizers, one or two first courses such as pasta or soup, a second course (meat and side dish), and dessert. There is a maximum of 10 participants in the class, so if you are interested, please contact Katey and Chris ASAP.

Before we all head off on our next adventure, please join us as we say farewell! Dinner will take place down at the lake, and transportation will be provided from the villa (as well as LaMora Guest house). Plan for great food, drinks, music, and laughs!
