US-Canada Border Crossing

For US guests traveling by car, there are several border crossings accessible from the Seattle Area. We implore guests to check border wait times ahead of travel plans. Peace Arch: This is the busiest crossing and often has the longest wait times, which can reach up to 4 hours during peak times. It connects Blaine, WA, with Surrey, BC. Blaine / Surrey Pacific Highway: Generally faster than the Peace Arch, this crossing is a good alternative if you want to avoid long delays. Lynden / Aldergrove: A lower volume port that typically experiences shorter wait times, making it a viable option for travelers looking to cross into Canada. Sumas / Huntingdon: Similar to Lynden, this crossing usually has shorter delays and is less congested compared to the more popular ports. Additionally, please ensure all members in your travel party have valid passports and are aware of import restrictions into Canada and back into the U.S. https://www.cbp.gov/travel
