We met in the beautiful city of Barcelona during our MBA program in the fall of 2017. After spending more time together, a budding friendship ultimately developed into a relationship. Following an early long-distance stint while Mark was in India for two months, we decided to move in together for the last few months of our time in Barcelona. Mark positioned it as a good idea to ‘save money’ when in reality he was just super into her already! We headed back to the US in January 2019 and have been happily living together in Chicago (and now Boston) since. Both of us are half Greek (Kat will always argue she is the more ‘Greek’ one, even though Mark has that Greek look) so we got engaged in Methoni, Greece during a vacation in September 2019. After a long engagement, we can’t wait to head back to our favorite country to celebrate our special day. We acknowledge the time and financial commitment to take a trip for a destination wedding like this. We would obviously love to have you, but certainly understand those that cannot or choose not to undertake it!
