Right around the corner from St. Patrick's Catholic Church, come here for a quick bit to eat at their lovely bistro and peruse some art on a Saturday afternoon in your wedding-best.
Enjoy a bubble tea at one of the couple's favourite spots. This place was a part of how their friendship grew into a love story! Try a Deerioca Fever (Reuben's favourite - with soy milk as an option) or a Royal No. 9 milk tea in the warm option with no tapioca (Katerina's favourite). Have a stroll around U of T campus while you sip your bubble tea or make it all the way up to Yorkville or the Royal Ontario Museum.
Have some ramen for lunch at Reuben's favourite Japanese restaurant (now serving gluten-free noodles!). Have some fried gyoza (dumplings) alongside delicious Karage (sadly not gluten-free) chicken and a bowl of authentic Japanese ramen - Yum! Follow it up by walking around Queen St. West, iconic in its own right but also where the couple spent their time at the beginning of their relationship and Reuben's old neighborhood.
Come here for delicious Korean soft tofu stew (or bibimbap or beef bulgogi) at Katerina's favourite restaurant. Served hot with sticky purple rice, it's authentic and delicious. Reuben's favourite is the Pork Bone soup while Katerina's are the vegetable tofu stew or beef bulgogi soup with glass noodles. After eating, walk along Bloor St. West where Reuben and Katerina spent many afternoons in the summer (one of her favourite neighbourhoods).
Reuben's favourite coffee spot is right on Queen St. West. The coffee shop boasts of delicious house-made granolas and nut milk (for all the lactose-free but not nut-allergic). Take a walk in Trinity Bellwoods Park or just the street itself with your delicious coffee and make some of your own memories.
Delicious unique soft serve flavors served in black colored cones, iHalo Krunch is a staple in Katerina and Reuben's summer food playlist. Enjoy everything from authentic vanilla to Pandan to black sesame and ube while you walk down the lovely Queen St West.
Enjoy traditional & modern Indian dishes in a refined dining room & patio. Takeout options are also available. Walk down main street Unionville to experience the local shopping stores, or spend some time admiring TooGood pond.
This is where Reuben introduced Katerina to his favorite Indian breakfasts. A great variety of south Indian food options are available here.
