Chicago has two airports but the easiest/closest to family is O'Hare International Airport

Metra MD-W or UP-NW or UP-N

There is a close stop in Elmwood Park from the church to go downtown through the MD-W line. We used to take the Metra down to Chicago all the time and go from Des Plaines to Ogilvie Station through the UP-NW line. If you are coming from Evanston, the easiest way to get to Elmwood Park would be through the UP-N to go to Ogilvie and then take the MD-W line.

If Daren were coming from out of town, he would stay at this hotel to get the nicest lodging that avoids the high costs of being in Chicago and is located somewhat close to the church. Outside of driving, you can get to the church through the CTA Blue Line and taking the 90 Bus to Elmwood Park.
