The Acropolis is a historic hill in Athens, home to the most iconic Greek landmark - the Parthenon, a temple dedicated to Goddess Athens. PLEASE NOTE: Avoid visiting the Parthenon during the hot hours in the afternoon (12-5pm) - due to the marble structures, it reflects the sun and the temperature can reach up to 50 (!!) degrees up the hill. The Acropolis Museum is an archaeological site-specific museum, housing more than 3.000 famous artefacts from the Athenian Acropolis, the most significant sanctuary of the ancient city. Mikrolimano is a picturesque marina in Piraeus, South Athens, known for its charming waterfront lined with incredible seafood restaurants and cafes. The small harbour is filled with boats and the area offers a vibrant nightlife. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre is a must-visit for tourists due to its modern architectural design, beautiful green spaces and a large park with stunning views of Athens. It also hosts a number of cultural events, exhibitions and performances, making it a hub for arts and entertainment in the city. You can combine it with a walk towards Flisvos Marina (25min walk along the seaside), where you will find plenty of cafes.
