Hikes

Many to choose from, as the Appalachian and the Bartram Trail flow nearby. Siler Bald is a round trip 2.4 mile trip on the AT to the top of the world and a moderate hike. You can also drive up Wayah Bald, park, and walk on the AT a short paved 0.2 miles to another top of the world. Enjoy a view of Franklin, and the surrounding 3 states. Both spots are around 5000 feet in elevation.
