Kate and Wyatt were introduced by mutual friends in early 2017. They got to know each other at barbeques, bowling nights, and camping trips over the summer. By August, they were talking on the phone every night and driving an hour on the freeway to see each other every weekend. They decided to make it official and confessed their love for each other on a trip to San Francisco in the fall. A year later, Wyatt surprised Kate with his Grandmother’s ring one night when she was sick in her pajamas. She “wasn’t even wearing makeup” at the time, so she knew it was for real. The couple will be getting married on June 15th of 2019, the 73rd anniversary of Kate’s grandparents wedding as well as the 6th anniversary of her brother and his wife’s marriage.
