We went on our first date after meeting on a dating app. Neither of us thought much of going on this date. In fact, we both made plans for after the date. We were wrong. Very wrong. What was supposed to be a two hour date turned into a five hour date. We bonded over our love for superhero's, dogs, good food, the fact that white isn't a color, and the fact that we are both educators. Fast-forward, we began dating and continued to bond over our interests, humor, the difference between custard and ice cream, etc. It was then that Tyler became step-pappy to our Corgi (our ring bearer), Dexter. Flash forward 5 months into dating and we had a pandemic to deal with. And then job changes. And more job changes. All before a year of dating. This only served to strengthen our relationship. On July 16th, 2021 we got engaged in Vegas! We soon began planning the wedding of our dreams. The following summer we welcomed a new pup (our flower girl) into our family. Due to our love of superhero's, our wedding will be superhero themed. We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together.
