Our Story
Katelynn and Sarin met on Hinge in April 2021. Sarin was intrigued after seeing Katelynn’s photos — obviously. Things proceeded normally until they exchanged Snapchats and Katelynn learned that Sarin’s username was “Uncle Rick.” This caused Katelynn to disappear for a month to reflect on whether she could legally associate with someone using that name.
Eventually, Sarin’s persistence pushed things forward again. Sarin made a last attempt to meet up at Station 26 Brewery for what would become their first date. Sarin appreciated that Katelynn could ask and talk about anything, and Katelynn appreciated that Sarin genuinely listened.
Their next few dates went as you would expect- Sarin losing his car (yes, the actual car), dark humor being shared, a wallet mysteriously vanishing, and Ripple crying for reasons still unknown to this day- they knew they found the right person!
