Once upon a Tompkins, at a place so very cold, there was a girl who started taking ice skating lessons at a local ice rink. Her name is Katelynn. While skating around in circles trying to improve her skills learned in class, she was noticed by a boy. His name is Kyle. Kyle came for public skate to skate with his son. He noticed Katelynn from afar. He started skating around Katelynn more and more. Katelynn actually noticed Kyle’s son, Bryce, first and asked if he would teach her how to skate better. Bryce denclined, but Kyle threw in some tips then would skate off. This continued for a few weeks. They started skating together after Katelynn’s skate lessons. The both of them talked on the phone for a couple of weeks getting to know each other. Every-time they did, Katelynn never not had a smile on her face. One day at the rink, Katelynn was skating and fell, hitting her head on the ice. Kyle immediately came to Katelynn’s side to check on her and to see if she had a possible concussion. The care and love that he showed her when she was hurt, felt like home. Katelynn and Kyle have been in a relationship for almost 5 years. That same care and love continues to be the base of their relationship. Their 5th anniversary will be on their wedding day. Kyle proposed to Katelynn on February 6, 2022 at Wichita Wildlife Refuge in Lawton, Oklahoma. They went on a short hike to Bat Cave which is a place they never have been before. They love adventures. While taking photos together, he surprised her by having the ring pulled out and Kyle asked If she would spend the rest of her life with him by his side! And the adventure continues… Happily Ever After!
