Minnehaha Falls
In the mood for some fresh air? Minnehaha Park is one of Minneapolis' oldest and most popular parks featuring a 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs, and overlooks of the Mississippi River, with walking/biking paths and a disc golf course. Grab a taco from Sea Salt Eatery for a quick lunch while you are there. You can hop on the Blue Line near our hotels and take a 20-minute train ride from Warehouse/Hennepin to 50th St-Minnehaha, then walk 5 minutes to see the falls, or it's a 20-minute drive.

Northeast is where Jon & Katelynn first met and lived as a couple! Our recommendations are listed below. Best reached by Uber/Lyft from our blocked hotels (~10 minutes).
Chimborazo
One of our all time favorite brunch spots with good coffee. We recommend the Llapingachos breakfast, or Caldo De Bolas!
Hai Hai
Hip Vietnamese with a fun patio and cocktail list. The crispy rice salad and Vietnamese coffee pot de creme are crave-able favorites!
Kramarczuk's
James Beard award-winning Eastern European deli featuring house-made specialties such as cabbage rolls, pierogi and sausages. An institution in NE Minneapolis!
Jax Cafe
One of our favorite spots for a special occasion dinner. Listen to the soothing flow of water while you enjoy a cocktail and a steak on the beautiful garden patio. This is where we toasted our decision to adopt puppy Max into our family!
Breweries & Distilleries
Northeast is known for its craft beer scene, making it a great neighborhood to brewery hop. Break up your sips with some steps (about 1 mile of total walking in this order) and try some of our favorites below.
