Question

Why was I only sent an invite for the reception?

Answer

Due to limited space at our ceremony venue, we've had to prioritize seating for our immediate families. As much as we would love to have everyone with us for the entire day, we simply aren’t able to accommodate all guests at the chapel. That said, we are thrilled to welcome you to our reception, where there will be plenty of space to celebrate together! If you received an invite for the reception only, you’re welcome to arrive a bit early, but please plan to grab a drink and be seated shortly after 5:00 PM when the venue opens. The wedding party will be following closely behind to kick off the evening with speeches and dinner. Not to worry—there will be an extended cocktail hour following dinner before we open up the dance floor for the rest of the night.

Wedding Day Timeline & Guest Information?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive between 2:30 and 2:45 PM to allow ample time for parking and finding your seat. Immediately following the ceremony, guests are invited to line up along both sides of the walkway outside the chapel for a special photo opportunity with the newlyweds. Our photographers will guide you through this process, so please listen for their instructions! From this time until 5:00 PM, enjoy a selection of yard games while the reception venue is being prepared. Guests also have the option to book a guided tour of the Historic Daniel Boone Home, available from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. The reception space will open at 5:00 PM. Please feel free to grab a drink and choose your seat—but don’t stray too far! The wedding party will arrive shortly afterward to kick off the evening with speeches and dinner. Following dinner, we’ll transition into an extended cocktail hour before the dance floor opens at 7:00 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Each item was carefully chosen, so if you’d like to give a physical gift, we kindly ask that you select something directly from the list. We’ve linked each item to the best deal available at the time, but prices may change—no worries if you find it elsewhere, as long as it matches the description. Just don’t forget to return to the registry and mark your gift as purchased to help us avoid duplicates!
