What is the dress code?

Answer

Causal formal! Due to the ceremony being outside, dress according to the weather! It will most likely be chilly. We will have our reception inside where it will be warmer.

How should I RSVP and when is the RSVP due?

Answer

Our Save The Dates will provide a QR code that will allow you to RSVP, and RSVP on our wedding website. No mailing is required. RSVP's will be due November 16th, 2025.

Will there be dinner?

Answer

Yes! There will be rice, beans, and Carne asada!

What is the Wedding Day itinerary?

Answer

Guests are asked to arrive at 4:00 pm. The ceremony will start at 4:30. There will be a small gap after the ceremony so the wedding party can take pictures and the reception will start at 5:30. The reception will end at 9:00 pm! Anyone willing to stay behind to help us clean up the venue would be greatly appreciated!

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

When you turn onto the gravel road at "The Payton's Place", you will continue down the path until you pass the barn with the red roof. Continue down that way until you see a pond on the left-hand side. There will be parking spaces beside the pond on the right side! Be sure to stay on the gravel!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

No, but our wedding website has suggestions on places you could stay while you are here!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No alcohol will be served. If anyone brings in an alcoholic beverage it will be confiscated. If anyone shows up under the influence will be escorted off the premises.

Am I allowed to take pictures?

Answer

During our ceremony we will be having an "unplugged ceremony", so we ask that all guests silence their phones and keep them put up. We have a photographer taking pictures for us during the ceremony and would not like to see cellphones in our wedding pictures. You are more than welcome to take as many pictures as you want at the reception! We are also gonna have a photobooth set up!
