What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. Please come dressed in elegant shades of black and other near-black hues. Appropriate attire includes: - Refined cocktail dresses, elegant midi dresses, or floor-length gowns. - Dark suits with a tie, or a crisp dress shirt with coordinating tie or bow tie. Absolutely NO jeans and/or cowboy boots.

Is there anything going on before or after the wedding?

Answer

A welcome gathering will be held the evening prior to the wedding for invited guests. Please refer to RSVP details to see if you are included.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD) is the closest and most convenient airport - just 10 minutes from the hotel and 30 minutes from the venue.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The hotel where the room block is offers a free shuttle service to and from the hotel and airport. Shuttle services will also be provided between the hotel and venue. See the “Travel” tab for details.

Where should I stay?

Answer

A room block is reserved at the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls-City Centre - booking details are on the “Travel” page. Airbnb and campground options are also available in Sioux Falls and Lennox.

What’s the weather like in Sioux Falls, SD in January?

Answer

Expect cold, snowy, and windy weather, with average temperatures between 25°F and 5°F. Layered winter clothing is essential - check the forecast before packing.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

A car can be helpful, but transportation will be provided for all wedding events.
