Bridesmaid
Khrystia. My long-distance bestie, roommate, and travel buddy. To say we've been through a lot over the years would be an understatement. We've been together for all of life's big events, through high school graduation, University convocations, and visiting one of the 7 wonders of the world. So naturally, I had Khrystia by my side for my wedding day.
Best Man
What started as a hate-hate relationship playing hockey against each other at 13 years old, turned into a lifelong friendship. Our bond has always revolved around hockey, the Habs and our shared love for the TV show Friends. We have made so many memories together throughout our friendship that we are more so brothers than friends, so it only made sense that we are each others Best Man.
Bridesmaid
After growing up with two younger brothers for what felt like an eternity, I was more than ready for a sister when Anne came along. I finally got a sister I could dress up, have sleepovers in each other's rooms (which was hard when you have someone half your size taking up more of the bed), talk forever, complain about our brothers, and playing 'Just Dance'. I couldn't have done this day without her.
Groomsman
Everyone has that annoying little brother who is always stealing your stuff, hogging the video games or just existing, yeah that was Ty. Now that we have matured and lived together for a couple years we are actually friends! Happy now mom? Ty has always been there for the important milestones in my life so it only makes sense that he stands up beside me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Kaylee and I became friends when we were co-benchwarmers for our highschool basketball team. We quickly bonded on that bench and turned into an ever lasting friendship with more adventures and memories than I could ever remeber (or should share).
Groomsman
I first met Kye through Dakota when we were 16 years old. Who would’ve thought that after puking in the back alley at his cabin, his mom would still let us be best friends 12 years later? Some of my best summers were spent at the lake with Kye and his family, and I cherish those memories every day!
Bridesmaid
We may be cousins, but growing up we were more like sisters. Living so close our families were always together and so we would always be playing and Michaela would bully me (there is video proof). Once Erik came along we were able to gang up on tormenting him instead. Then we could spend our time putting on plays and shows for the family, creating blockbusters videos, and trampoline at the Grandparents. As adults, not much has changed but the late night sleepovers now involve a drink or two.
Groomsman
I met Riley in grade 8 playing football in Yorkton, but our friendship really started in Mr. Ingham's grade 9 math class. Never would have thought that all the shenanigans in the back of that class room would turn into a life long high school friend. We have had so many memories throughout our years together that I can't pick a favourite, but if we meet Dominic Toretto, there no is topping that memory
Bridesmaid
Kristin and I met in a first-year University class when we ended up in a group project together and got along so naturally, we have been friends ever since. I'm not sure if it was that we bonded over terrible commerce classes, University clubs, backcountry camping, or making fun of Steven, but all I know is that this is a friendship to last a lifetime.
Groomsman
Carter—or Derk, as I call him—and I met playing hockey in Nipawin. Over our three years there, our friendship grew with every bag skate, battle drill, and board game night. I’ll always remember the night we hoisted the Canalta Cup over our heads, knowing our brotherhood would last forever.
Flower Girl
Charlotte is the youngest in our clan, but she is by far the wildest. We may be 18 years apart, but we are alike in so many ways, including our matching dimples. We both love dancing to music and playing board games, only when we win. I ncan always count on my little sister to make me smile, and I know she will be the best hype girl when it's time to walk down the aisle.
Ring Bearer
Xavier is my second youngest sibling and my youngest brother. I like to think we have always had a special bond, since we are further in age this was one brother that didn't annoy me. When he was little would dress him up in cute outfits and we would dance in the kitchen to country music. Now we like to spend time together snowboarding or canoeing down the river (which I totally kick his butt at both).
