Wesley and I met in high school during Sophomore year and had both expressed an interest in one another. We were good friends who braved analytic geometry together, and yes, the subject was as.. interesting.. as it sounds! Eventually, romantic feelings grew and though now we know it was meant to be, back then the timing just was not quite right. We remained good friends and a year later Wesley left South Paulding High School and me behind with two years left until I graduated. On Wesley’s last day of class he said goodbye and promised to come back to see me graduate. I thought it was a sweet gesture and with little expectation of Wesley actually seeing me graduate, I agreed to have him come and we went separate ways. Fast Forward- Two weeks before graduation day, Wesley reaches out holding true to his promise and did in fact come to see me graduate. We have been together ever since.
