Getting this a lot :) - Saturday’s high is forecasted to be 59 , low forecasted to be 54, with rain (we’re really 0 for 2 on the wedding celebration conditions!) Tyler is wearing khakis and a button down. I was planning to wear a long sundress but am considering white pants and a blouse as an alternative if I feel its too chilly. We just want you guys to be comfortable!! Please wear what you’d like. The event will be covered, so you will be dry, but you may want to dress a bit warmly. We’re looking at bringing in space heaters for the outdoor spaces. Call or text me or Tyler with any questions!!
They say the first year of marriage is the hardest. I don’t know what “they” say about the first year of marriage in a global pandemic, but here we are. In March 2020, as we watched the world (and our wedding plans) shut down, we resolved to get married anyway and have a big celebration when it was all over. Obviously that’s worked out really well... While COVID rolls on into Year 2, we're seeing signs of hope that “normal” might be right around the corner. As many of our family and friends have now been vaccinated, we aim to move forward with our game plan and celebrate our marriage, 364 days later. We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 24 at 5:00 PM at our home for a backyard celebration. We understand that not everyone is comfortable emerging from quarantine just yet - we will do everything we can to make the evening as safe as possible, and we understand if you choose to celebrate from afar. The event will be hosted entirely outdoors - rain or shine - in an open air environment, with a tent set up in the event of rain. Masks will be available, but will not be required. Out of respect for our guests' comfort and safety, we ask that you stay home if you are experiencing symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly been around someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the event (April 14-24). Please reach out to Katelyn if you have any questions - don’t forget to RSVP!
