Tyler and Katelyn met in high school and remained acquaintances up until the summer of 2022. Tyler reached out to me via social media asking if I would be interested in going out sometime, but I did politely decline that offer for the time being. Later throughout the summer, Tyler again reached back out to me in regards to a book quote from Colleen Hoover that I had shared on my social media. The quote said "People say you fall in love, but fall is such a sad word when you think about it. Falls are never good. You fall on the ground, you fall behind, and you fall to your death.". Tyler responded by asking me what I believed a better word to replace fall with was. Before I answered, Tyler stated that he believes using the word stumble in place of the word fall is a better fit because stumbling into love is not something you necessarily plan for, it is not controlled but that's what makes it beautiful. And the rest was history. We have flourished together! It all started by moving into our first home only 3 months into our relationship in December of 2022. We then adopted a cat together in February of 2023 and named her Onyx. We have traveled together on several vacations all throughout 2023. We found out we are having our first son in September of 2023 and he is due in May of 2024. Getting engaged in November of 2023 in front of all of our family and friends. And to now planning a wedding for May of 2025. Like the tagline above, if at first you don't succeed, try again. We have stumbled into a deep love for each and can not wait to fall deeper in love and grow our family together.
