Although we would love for your kids to be able to join, due to occupancy restrictions we will be having an adult only ceremony and reception, unless specified on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to have you celebrate with us!
We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our ceremony and reception! Our dress code is semi-formal. Please note, the ceremony will be held in a church. Bring comfy shoes for late night dancing!
We want to party with everyone! However, we are only able to accommodate a limited number of guests. If you receive a plus-one, it will be indicated on your invitation.
The weather in Craig, Colorado can be unpredictable in early May. Usually the weather will be around 50's or 60's during the day and chilly at night around the 40's. There may be a chance for some rain/light snow showers, but we are praying for a beautiful sunny day! Both the ceremony and reception will be mainly indoors. Due to the size of the church, only family will be allowed upstairs, while other guests will be seated downstairs or outside. The reception, dinner and dancing, will take place inside.
The closest airport to Craig is the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) just 20 minutes away. There are flights daily, on United or Southwest, connecting through Denver International Airport (DEN). Additional regional airports on the western slope of Colorado include, Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT), Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), and Eagle/Vail County Regional Airport (EGE) that are all about a 2.5 hour drive from Craig. Denver International Airport (DEN) is about a 3.5-4 hour drive from Craig. The drive has spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains! Regardless, if you are flying, we recommend renting a car as there are no Ubers, Lyft or Ride Share in Craig. It's also the best way to explore rural northwest Colorado!
