Katelyn and Ryan's love story goes all the way back to the halls of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, more specifically, Mr. Saggio's C-block Physics class junior year. As fate would have it, Ryan was seated in front of Katelyn on the first day of class and she couldn't see the board, so she asked if they could switch, and he was on her radar ever since. Katelyn's friends from Raynham had been friends with Ryan ever since middle school and tried to play matchmaker when she started asking questions. But it wasn't until December when Ryan was seeing a late night showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with his buddies that he found the courage to Snapchat her. A few weeks later, he boldly texted her "Merry Christmas," they went back and forth for a bit, and never stopped. They went on their first date to the romantic Bertucci's followed by a movie at the Taunton mall. They made it official after Ryan saw Katelyn's amazing ice skating skills at the Patriot's Place rink! Since then, together, they graduated high school and Katelyn went off to Holy Cross and Ryan to UMass Amherst for college. After college, they both moved home to work technician jobs in their respective fields while Katelyn went back to nursing school and Ryan got ready for vet school. They now live in Long Island, NY where Ryan is in his second year of vet school at Long Island University and Katelyn works as a NICU nurse in NYC. Most importantly, they live with their 2 year-old Golden Retriever, Brody, who is their pride and joy!
