Once upon a time, on a campus far, far away (okay, about 2 hours away - Boiling Springs, North Carolina), there was a boy that set his sights on a girl. He spotted her in the university lip sync competition and knew that he had to talk to her. He tried waving at her every day for a few days when they crossed paths on campus yet she seemed to ignore him. Still, the lad did not give up! He finally got her attention and invited her to study with him in the library. He told her that he needed her help studying psychology, since that was her major. When she arrived at the library, she found that he had a total of 4 flash cards because it was the first week of school. After breezing through those in about a minute, he began to charm her with his quality conversation, unashamed nerdiness, witty humor, and devout faith. After the “study date” that involved very little studying and quite a bit of laughter, the girl joined her friends for dinner and told them that she would marry that boy. The boy and the girl became the best of friends. The boy and the girl saw each other through difficult times. The boy and the girl dove head first into love. The rest, they say, is history.
