Our Story
We acknowledged each other for the first time when Central PeeWees won the Championship game at Rogers High School in 2016. Yes, we were only 10 and 12 years old...
The football players and cheerleaders got together for a group photo and we just so happened to be standing right beside each other. Preston's personality was like no other, constantly making jokes and being a typical boy. He swears that he was just trying to be funny to get my attention but I am not so sure that he even knew who I was! A few days later he asked me to be his 'girlfriend' and the rest is history!
If we would have been told at ten and twelve years old that in ten years we would be getting married, we would not have believed it.
We have had our fair share of bad decisions and disappointments but through it all, we gained life lessons that have built the relationship we have today. Had we not walked through the trials that life has thrown at us, we would not be capable of loving each other the way we do.
