We met thanks to a Halloween party that Katelyn almost didn’t attend — until her childhood friend (and bridesmaid), Emily Sarata, insisted she go. Katelyn showed up dressed as Jenna Rink from 13 Going on 30. Noah arrived as a very niche character from a YouTube skit that Katelyn had never heard of (and, truthfully, still may not fully understand). Somehow, it worked. That night, Noah asked for Katelyn’s number and didn’t waste any time — he asked her to dinner two days later. Our first official date was on Halloween, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. What started as a costume party quickly turned into something much bigger, and Halloween became our day — the anniversary we’ve celebrated every year since. Over time, our love story became intertwined with tradition. Every year, we host a Halloween party with all of our favorite people, and on our third anniversary (yes, also Halloween), we designed Katelyn’s engagement ring. Halloween may be our favorite holiday, but don’t worry — our wedding is not Halloween-themed. Think black tie, formal, and classic… just with a couple who really loves October 31st. Now, we’re so excited to throw our biggest and best party yet and celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most!
