For a wonderful breakfast or lunch during your stay in Newnan, we recommend J. Christopher’s. It is one of Newnan's newest dining options and has quickly become a local favorite. It is conveniently located in Ashley Park near the two hotels where guests will be staying.
Ashley Park
Within walking distance of the hotels where many of our guests will be staying, Ashley Park is Newnan’s premier open-air shopping and dining destination. The center features a variety of well-known retailers, including Dillard’s and Barnes & Noble, along with boutiques, restaurants, and a movie theater. It’s a convenient and enjoyable spot to shop, dine, or simply stroll during your visit.
Putter's Pointe Miniature Golf
Looking for a little extra fun during your stay? Putter’s Pointe in Sharpsburg is a local mini golf spot that’s perfect for families and guests of all ages. It’s a great way to enjoy some lighthearted competition and spend a fun afternoon together during your wedding weekend.
Historic Downtown Newnan Square
A short drive from the hotels, Newnan’s historic downtown square offers timeless charm and a wonderful selection of locally owned shops and restaurants. Browse thoughtfully curated boutiques such as Gillyweed and Blue Moon Boutique, or enjoy a coffee or tea at Leaf & Bean. For dining, local favorites include Meat N Greet and Karvellas Pizza Co., followed by a sweet treat from Rock Salt Milk Bar. It’s a lovely way to experience the heart of Newnan during your visit.
Newnan Pickleball Complex
The Newnan Pickleball Complex is a public amenity with 15 pickleball courts located near the Historic Newnan Downtown Square. The courts are open daily from 8am - 10pm and free to use. On Saturday mornings, they offer a beginner's class to learn how to play pickleball for $10 (Event Registration tab on website). BYOP (bring your own paddle (and pickleballs)).
Chattahoochee Bend State Park
For guests who enjoy the outdoors, Chattahoochee Bend State Park offers beautiful scenery along the Chattahoochee River just outside of Newnan. With walking trails, peaceful river views, and plenty of space to explore, it’s a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy Georgia’s natural beauty.
