Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar during our cocktail hour, dinner and most of our reception. We will however switch to a cash only bar starting at 9:30 pm. If you plan to order cocktails after this time make sure to carry some cash. The property does have an ATM on site if needed.

How can we travel to Key West?

Answer

You can either drive, fly or come by boat. Key west has an airport that most major airlines fly into. The Key West Express boat out of Fort Myers Beach is also a great option.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please wear resort formal clothing. Women in dresses. Preffered colors would be “tequila sunrise” yellows, oranges, pinks or chartreuse green. Men in regular suits or linen suits . No jeans or white colored dresses. Please if your dress is blue make it patterned as our bridal party will be in blue.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although we love children and can’t wait for some of our own! Sadly, children are not allowed for the ceremony or reception.

Does Oceans Edge allow pets?

Answer

Yes! If you are planning to stay with us they do allow up to two animals per room for a daily fee. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about this!

How do we get to Duval St?

Answer

Duval St is about 2 miles away. Oceans edge has both a shuttle that runs every hour until 11 pm or you can Uber! There are plenty of Ubers available all through Key West.

When should we arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes in advance. Our ceremony starts at 4:30 so please arrive at 4 to avoid any delays.

When will the bride & groom be in town?

Answer

We plan to get in early Thursday morning and will start a Duval St crawl with everyone early afternoon. We will stay through Sunday. We would love for all our guests to stay the entire weekend but we do understand if not!

Do I need a car on Key West?

Answer

No! There are tons of Ubers in the area. Oceans edge also offers a free shuttle and golf cart rentals for a fee.
