Katelyn and Mike met at Starbucks for their first date. He said lets grab drinks! She thought this meant lets get coffee. He thought this meant lets go to a bar. They met up either way, and the conversation seemed like it would never end. They could not get enough of each other from there on. Bowling dates turned into no one winning, because all they did was talk. Movie nights turned into an OMG episode of you like the Fast and the Furious without actually watching the movie. They just felt like family from day one. Now they will officially be family soon!!

Mike asked randomly to go for a walk that Friday night after work. This was never a usual request after the week finished up. The couch is his happy place Friday night. It got even more suspicious when he wanted to drive all the way to the C&O Canal. This was one of Katelyn and Mike's favorite hiking date spots. Katelyn joked earlier that Mike might be proposing, and sure enough this is what happened. Mike got down on one knee. She blurted out "YES" before he could finish. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!! See you at The Woodlands!!
