Are the ceremony and reception separate events?

Answer

Yes. We would love it if everyone could attend both events, but due to the size restriction of the ceremony space. We are having a small, intimate ceremony, and a larger gathering for the reception. Invitations should reflect which party of our big day you are invited to. Thank you for being understanding!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving at 4:15pm to park and make your way to the ceremony space.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests wear cocktail, semi-formal, or dressy casual attire.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. The Ceremony will be at Sowell Town Church with the reception taking place at The Opera House in Bishopville, SC.

Can I bring extra guests not included in the invitation address?

Answer

Since our venue requires a head count, we ask that you contact us before bringing any additional guests.

Can I take photos during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Photos during the reception are more than welcomed - in fact, feel free to send us any photos you take! However, we ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony. We will share photos taken by our photographer. We ask this so that our professional photos are not obstructed by guests holding up devices.

Should I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
