We would love for our guests to dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire and join us in making the day feel extra special. Think wedding guest dresses, dress shirts, slacks, suits, jumpsuits, etc. While formalwear is not required, we kindly ask that guests avoid overly casual attire such as jeans, t-shirts, or athletic wear. We also ask that guests avoid wearing burgundy, as the bride will be wearing that color. Unlike most weddings, white is completely okay to wear!
Our ceremony is currently planned to take place outdoors, weather permitting. In the event of poor weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors. We expect the ceremony to be relatively short, so while we absolutely want guests to be comfortable, we encourage everyone to keep outerwear minimal if possible. We would love for everyone to be able to fully enjoy the atmosphere — and of course help us keep the ceremony photos looking beautiful!
We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before everything starts. Out of respect for the ceremony and our photographers, late guests will not be admitted once the ceremony has begun. We promise it will be worth arriving on time!
We kindly ask that guests do not take photos or videos during the ceremony and keep phones put away once the ceremony begins. We want everyone to be fully present and in the moment with us, and we also want to make sure our professional photos stay clear of phones, screens, and cameras in the background. Do not worry though — we fully plan to put those phone cameras to good use during the reception! We are excited to see all of the fun, candid, and in-the-moment memories everyone captures throughout the night.
Our wedding will be primarily kid-free, with the exception of immediate family members and children participating in the wedding party. Any children who are invited will be specifically listed by name on the invitation.
If you have been given a plus one, it will be specifically indicated on your invitation. We absolutely want our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy celebrating with us, so close friends, siblings, significant others, or respectful dates are completely welcome if you have been provided a plus one. That said, respectfully… this probably is not the ideal event for a random first date.
Yes! We will have an open bar available from cocktail hour until last call. We want everyone to relax, celebrate, dance, and have a great time with us. That said, please drink responsibly and plan ahead for transportation or accommodations if needed. Unfortunately, venue fines for situations like excessive messes or vomiting are very real — and if we get fined because of you, just know a Cash App request may mysteriously appear in your notifications afterward. Consider this your loving warning.
Yes! We have listed several nearby hotel options on the Hotel tab of our website, including options that are within walking distance as well as more budget-friendly stays a short drive away. We are also exploring possible hotel block options and will update the page if additional information becomes available.
