Ayanna - more affectionately known as Anna - has been Katelyn’s best friend since the 3rd grade. She is a hardworking and beautiful soul. Through their years of friendship, Anna and Katelyn have shared almost the entirety of their lives together. They have experienced many adventures together in this time - both silly and thrilling. Now, as they look back to their childhood it is crazy to see that all of the hopes and dreams that they held as children are beginning to be fulfilled. Katelyn couldn’t be more thrilled to have Anna by her side as she starts perhaps the greatest adventure of her life.
Elizabeth Faulk
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Faulk is Katelyn’s older sister. Noisy and opinionated, yet affectionate and caring, Liz had no trouble jumping in to help her sister in the stressful moments of wedding planning. Many aspects of this wedding (more specifically the proposal) could not have happened without her. Now, after years of waiting, wondering, and dreaming, these sisters will get to stand together as Katelyn begins her adventure as Mrs. McKay.
Lauren Faulk
Bridesmaid
Lauren is Katelyn’s younger sister. As it was through her that Jim and Katelyn met, Lauren proudly takes full credit for their relationship. She is free-willed and headstrong, but also sweet and endearing. She gladly sat through hours of Katelyn’s back-and-forth planning with only a minimum amount of frustration - much to Katelyn’s delight. Now after years of playing make-believe, these sisters get to stand together as Katelyn begins the next stage of her life in marriage.
Amelia Myers
Bridesmaid
Amelia - or rather Millie as she is called by Katelyn’s family - is Katelyn’s junior bridesmaid and young cousin. She is wild, silly, and sweet. Through Katelyn’s time as a single woman, Millie took it upon herself to help Katelyn find a man - for she was quite concerned that Katelyn would end up an old spinster. She was always there to pick out some very...interesting outfits and to give advice. Now, Millie is happy to stand with Katelyn as she marries the love of her life.
Crystal Faulk
Mother of the Bride
Crystal is Katelyn’s loving mother. Always there to offer her love, support, and advice, she has been a big help in not only the wedding planning, but also Katelyn’s relationship with Jim. After so many years of wondering and praying and waiting, Crystal is more than thrilled to be with Katelyn as she marries the man she’s been waiting for.
Brad Faulk
Father of the Bride
Brad is Katelyn’s loving father and big supporter. Whether it was on the soccer field or at home, he’s always been there to offer his love, support, and advice to Katelyn as she has grown into the woman that she is today. He is happy to see her marry Jim, not only because of the love that they share, but also because...hey, she could have done much worse than that boy.
Troy Abner
Best Man
Troy is Jim’s brother and best man. Troy and Jim go way back, first as friends and then as brothers. Though not related by blood, the bond between these two could never be shattered. Through all the crazy shenanigans that they got into together, Troy was always there by Jim’s side. As boys, they spent countless summers working on go-karts and having the time of their lives tearing up Jim’s backyard. With every dumb, silly, crazy, or incredibly reasonable decision that Jim made through his life, Troy was always there to support him and help him see it through. Therefore, when it came time to pick a best man, Jim knew exactly who he wanted by his side. As Jim takes this next big step in life, he is glad to know he has Troy right there to back him up.
Jamol Pyles
Groomsman
Jamol is Jim’s brother. They met in early high school and have been completely inseparable since then. The two of them, just rowdy kids trying to get by and trying to figure out this world together. These two brothers took on many of their first steps into adulthood together - first jobs, first apartments, and everything in between. Now as Jim starts his happily ever after, he is ecstatic to have Jamol by his side as a groomsman.
Dustin Loudermilk
Groomsman
Dustin is the youngest of Jim’s brothers. Dustin and Jim’s friendship goes all the way back to their infant days. Always eager to spend time together, the boys spent most of their childhood together roaming the neighborhoods seeking the next big thrill. Through the years, nothing has changed. Jim and Dustin still spend their time goofing off together. Now, as Jim is getting married, he is grateful that he gets to have his little brother to stand by his side to support him.
Marjorie Butz
Mother of the Groom
Marjorie is Jim’s sweet mother. Loving and supportive, she has been there to encourage Jim through his many adventures in life. No matter how silly or crazy his problem, she was there to hear him out. Jim is grateful to have her as a mother and even more grateful to have her with him as he marries the girl of his dreams.
Jim McKay Sr.
Father of the Groom
Jim Sr. is Jim’s dad. There is no denying the relationship between father and son because Jim is almost an exact carbon copy of his father’s appearance. As Jim likes to say, “At least I know I will age well.” Jim Sr. has been there to teach Jim many silly, good, and tough lessons that helped him grow into the man that he is today. As the day comes for Jim to be wed, he is glad to have his father there with him to see it all.
