Hello everyone! We are so excited to celebrate with all of you!!

Kate’s undergrad roomate Mary convinced her to come to rush week for a coed service fraternity in the spring semester of their freshman year. Mary introduced Kate and Jerry. There was an instant connection, as they left the meeting Mary told Kate “you’re probably going to marry Jerry someday.” The next school year Jerry and Kate reconnected and the rest is history.

Jerry took Kate to their favorite hike spot in Oregon, Cape Sebastian to celebrate 6 years of dating. . Once they reached a cliff with a phenominal view of the ocean, he set up a picnic. He was so nervous that he could hardly speak, Kate just thought he was winded from the hike. At one point Kate got up to get a better view of something in the water, when she turned around Jerry reached his hands out for Kate to grab. After a short and very sweet speech, they got down on one knee and asked Kate to marry him. She said yes (or cried really hard while nodding vigourasly). As they were celebrating, a sea lion popped out of the water as if to congratulate them.
