THE REV. JOHN COLLINS – Pastor John has been serving Faith since July 2002. He has a Bachelor of Theology from SUNY, Stony Brook and Master of Divinity from Lutheran School of Theology of Chicago. Pastor makes himself readily available to those facing a pastoral issue or seeking spiritual guidance. He is also a devoted advocate for the homeless. When not ministering at Faith, Pastor John enjoys traveling. He has been all over the world, immersing himself in the culture of the places he visits. In 2023, he walked The Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage across Spain. He also is self-proclaimed “foodie” and enjoys creating dishes inspired from his travels. During Lent each year he bakes cakes for the congregation’s Soup Suppers. But his biggest joy is spending time with his two daughters and dog Bambi.
