Our venue, Red Ridge, is located in the small, countryside town of Smithville. This is approximately 30 miles south of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. There are many hotel and AirBnB options both in Smithville and in downtown Austin, should you wish to stay and explore the city!
Please note that South by Southwest (SXSW), Austin's iconic annual music, film, and technology festival, will be taking place right after our big day from March 15th-21st. While this brings an exciting energy to the city, it also means that hotels and flights may book up more quickly than usual. To ensure the best selection of accommodations and travel options, we encourage guests to make their arrangements as early as possible.
Due to the quaint nature of Smithville, it is also important to note that Lyft and Uber rideshares are best pre-scheduled, should you need this option to arrive to and from the wedding venue safely!

Buc-ee's
While you're in town for the wedding, we highly recommend making a pit stop at Buc-ee's—less than 10 miles from the reception venue! Fun fact: Katelyn and Dom stopped there (of course) on their very first trip to tour the wedding venue, and it quickly became part of the wedding-weekend lore. Between the build-your-own iced coffee bar and the legendary Beaver Nuggets, it was an instant favorite. Whether you need a caffeine boost, a road-trip snack, or just want to experience a true Texas institution, Buc-ee's is well worth the stop. Consider it an unofficial wedding weekend activity!
