We have known each other for 8 years now and ironically despised one another for awhile, we look back and find it so funny and crazy that we're where we are now! We fell out of contact around 2013 and then a couple years down the road on November 11, 2015, we began talking again and a strong friendship immediately formed; it was like our first time meeting again and every negative feeling we ever had about one another disappeared, it felt like that's how it should've always been. Our friendship gradually grew into much more so on June 8, 2016, after having a nice dinner in the mountains, we decided to make our relationship official! It is certainly an unforgettable day, we are still the best of friends and just as in love as we were then!

Our engagement technically lasted a couple weeks before David popped the big question, he would put me on a scavenger hunt everyday with clues and a photo at the end with one of our memories from throughout the years! We took a camping trip near Bear Lake for my birthday where the final hunt would be; on July 13th, 2019, we hiked the Crimson Trail in Logan Canyon. It was a very tough hike but wow was the view and unforgettable moment worth it! We stood on the edge of a cliff watching the sunset when David read out the last poem to the scavenger hunt, proposing at the end of it. Of course I said "yes" and cried like a baby, it was perfect and so very special!
